Ian McShane not in final telepics?
    « Thread Started on Nov 18, 2006, 2:16pm »

"Ian McShane, who presented Milch with an award over the weekend in Austin, Texas, is firming up his sked but Milch said the actor likely would reprise his role as Al Swearengen in the telepics."

How could they even film the show without the main character? If Gandolfini left sopranos in season 5 would they just cast another person for the role? This is F'd/

I dont think the movies will get made without him. if he has something scheduled, they will push it back. they have to.

Yeah, there is no point to continue without Ian.

Guys... "reprise" means a return to or resumption of an action.

really? I thought it meant turn down an offer.

seriously tho, the thing we ticked on was the "will likely". there is no likely. either he's in or there is no movies. end of story.

;) From what I hear, (and this as early as a couple of weeks ago) the movie (WITH IAN) is scheduled to begin sometime in June 2007. This was repeated by someone who works on the show and heard this from Milch himself. So it's looking good so far.....

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL and a special thank you to Rho for all that you do. It is GREATLY enjoyed and appreciated.

They should have Ian. Ian and Al the way he plays him and how Miltch's written for that character. That character has to come back.
